An Odd Pair

Trying to get back into realism. I was looking around for something to draw in my new sketchbook and saw this picture in my calendar.

I enjoyed experimenting with the texture of fur. I'm not too worried about the grass in this; maybe one day I'll do more with backgrounds. For right now, though, my focus is these two animals.
